So yesterday when I got home in the 32 emails I received was one titled "The email you have been waiting for...". As you can probably guess that was the one I opened first. It in formed all 36 of us young people in my unit that we now have a complete leadership team which means TRAINING WEEKENDS CAN COMMENCE!
My unit will have 5 full training weekends and 2 one day events. 4 of these are this year and the other 3 are next year. There will also be a range of fundraising activities spread throughout this year and next. If you have any ideas feel free to drop a comment.
Another thing that I am part of the Chiltern North fundraising group. My unit and district together decided it would be easier to fundraise with my local district than with people spread all over the place. My group will be doing a range of activities and events some will be open to all and those that are I will let you lot know as your support really helps.
I know I haven't had that much info this week but I'm getting more everyday from my leaders and the Facebook pages. Thanks for taking time to read this and feel free to drop a comment.
We did a car boot on Monday and raised £480 pounds we asked each troup to help us and give us a donation we didn't sell it all so hopefully doing another one. Another thing we are doing at christmas is an auction of promises, we're writing to local buisnesses and asking if they could donate something Hope this helps :)
